The Bombing of Hiroshima



During the final stages of World War II, the Americans conducted an atomic bombing against Japan which took place in Hiroshima. On August 6, 1945 the bomb fell from an American plane at 8:15am. The results of this atomic exlposion were devestating, leaving thousands instantly killed, vaporized from the searing heat. The bomb left the city in chaos. It reduced the majority of the buildings of Hiroshima to rubel and took the lives of thousands of Japanese citizens.
